By accessing our website or booking a stay at AVS Guest House, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Reservations & Booking

• Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation from our team.
• All rates are per room per night and are subject to applicable taxes (GST).
• We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
• Room availability is subject to change until a booking is confirmed.

2. Check-in & Check-out

• Standard check-in time: 12:00 PM (noon).
• Standard check-out time: 11:00 AM.
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for all guests.
• Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book a room.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 48+ hours before check-in: Full refund of the paid amount.
• 24–48 hours before check-in: Charge of one night's tariff; balance refunded.
• Within 24 hours or no-show: No refund; full booking amount charged.
• Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Payment Terms

• We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and UPI payments.
• Full payment is due at check-in unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Room rates are subject to change. Confirmed bookings will honour the agreed rate.

5. House Rules

• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the room or property.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms and all indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are available.
• Pets are not permitted on the premises.
• Alcohol consumption must comply with local laws and must not disturb other guests.
• Noise must be kept to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• Visitors must be registered at the front desk. Unregistered overnight visitors are not permitted.

6. Liability

AVS Guest House shall not be liable for loss or damage to guests' personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safe where provided. We are not responsible for events beyond our control (force majeure).

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Puducherry, India.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website.
